This page is meant to point you in the direction of resources that will help you care for your home, yard and equipment. Some of the items are affiliate links, meaning I make a small commission off any sales done through clicking on the link, however, the price of the item is no different for you whether you go through my link or directly to the retailer’s website. So, if you would, please use the affiliate links here and we both win. Thanks!
One of our go to stores for lawn care, equipment rentals, landscaping, home improvement, etc., is The Home Depot. Our last purchase of weed and feed was ordered from my desk, later that day my wife and son went and picked it up. Huge! What a time saver. Click on the image below and you can do that too.
Also, we’ve found Scott’s Turf Builder “Weed & Feed” to be effective, but the grass must be wet for the granules to stick to the weeds. The fertilizer doesn’t matter so much as it gets released into the soil, but the moisture will help dissolve the granules. Clicking on the image will take you to Home Depot so you can order it online and pick it up later.
Hosting and domain registration were purchased from GoDaddy.com. I’ve appreciated the way their support came along side me to get my site converted from a “Sitebuilder” style site to a WordPress site. The support was fantastic and I called them at least 5 times to get up and running.
When using power tools, such as, mowers, trimmers and leaf blowers, your ears can be exposed to high levels of sound. Studies show that prolonged use of power tools can damage your hearing. Choose ear protection that is comfortable so you’re more apt to wear it for prolonged periods. My hearing is already less than stellar so protecting it now is even more important so I wear them whether it’s the push mower, trimmer, our Exmark or the Red Max Blower. Zoro.com is an affiliate consider ordering them online.
